I liked the multiple endings because it gave the games more replay value.

alternate endings eh?...
A - After the FMV of the original ending, they show a home made video of Alyssa and Dennis, while they grew up, a wedding, showing their new house, a hospital and a baby girl in Alyssa's arms (thus the next rooder and heroine in CT4)
B - Clock Tower 3 original ending.
C - When Alyssa is saved by her grandfather (when she falls and he catches her) you will have a choice (Yay!) if you say no, then the game progresses as normal, if yes. an FMV plays... Alyssa is walking towards the boarding school, she talks to her friends (everything normal). A girl goes up to Alyssa and gives her an invitation card to a birthday party "I'm turning 15 this thursday, you'll come right?" she says. "Of course!" the girl walks away. Alyssa turns around...and smiles.
S - (Okay, um if you finished the game first time round, then you are at the part where Alyssa goes to the 'memory' of her as a baby. Go to 'Philips room' or where it will be) then once you're inside... An FMV plays... while the credits are rolling, chibi style drawn subordinates chase after Alyssa! The game plays your usual darkly- silly off key song (eg. Scissor man and scissor woman, what's up with the face paint?) then around the end alyssa gets off screen and comes back driving a tank. Making the subordinates run.

Those all sound pretty good, but the C ending does not make a lot of sense. The Ritual of Engagement will only work with the heart of a ROODER who has just turned 15. And Alyssa's grandfather was not interested in making Entities, so much as just being with his beloved granddaughter forever.

Alyssa's grandfather wanted to be an entity himself SO he could be with her forever. When he fused with LB he became the 'dark man' BUT at the end of the game we see that he could always switch forms (LB to DM to Dick). My idea was that Dick had taken the form of Alyssa to go back to the boarding school to help another guy become an entity. That 'girl' was another rooder from another family. The 'smile' that Alyssa gives is supposed to be evil. (A tad off-topic but...) I wonder how Alyssa would be like if she was an entity... I'm imagining teenage school girl waving a 'holy' water bottle acting a bit like the scissor twins but saying ' splash and drench!' or ' Sprinkle and burn!' or 'There you are! splash!' ...but she does have the bow n arrow though...

But you missed my point. His only real interest was being with Alyssa forever. While he decided to try and become an Entity to accomplish this, he really cared nothing for them. He had no interest in leading them to torment the world, only used them to get Alyssa. Thus, after having accomplished this, it seems unlikely he would bother trying to turn other people into Entities or doing favors for anyone else.

LB is there too. And anyway, they never said that he wouldn't help another. If you think about it the 'entities' are like a 'dark brotherhood' group thingy (practicing in the art of sacrafice and all...) now wouldn't a brother help another out? ...-_-; please don't hate me.... Anyway, you never know what's going on in a person's head... you're sister just might want to kill you... (I should know, i want to kill mine...)

But LB, while definately a lot more evil, only did it to be with his own daughter Annabel forever. He was able to kill cruelly regardless.

Look, this was just an example! This thread's topic has an 'IF' in front of it. Give me a rest.
