Although you all probably figured this out already I have played First Fear, and oddly although I had played 3 beforehand, it was FF that got me interested into the series.

My favourite game for SNES... I love the eerie music, creepy plot, somber graphics, and (most of all) the fact that the main character isn't a super-duper-zombie-killing-ninja like in so many other horror games.

I've only played the first one on SNES and the psx version. It should've been released in America though...especially The First Fear remake for psx.

They could easily port the original to the DS and bring it over. No idea why they don't.@_@ It would make the fans happy and maybe rekindle interest in the series.

I think the only reason they won't is because it's a niche series, so not a guarantee hot seller, and right now with this economy, they are only betting a sure sellers, and leaving niche games for the dust.
I really wish they would port over Nasashi no Geemu over for DS, but that won't happen.

If any game will get people into it, it's the original. And as mentioned, it would be easy enough to port over to the DS. There's also minimal dialogue to translate. The DS is popular now, and there's aren't enough survival horror games for it. There really aren't many survivor horror games in general, really.>_> There are a lot of fans who would buy it, and if it did well, they could remake the other games in the series.
