It may not be a rule, but please try to vary it up a bit. It's not fun if you keep hurting and healing the same person every single time, after all.
Heal Anne Hurt Ms. Mary
Jennifer - 11 Anne - 8 Lotte - 13 Ms. Mary - 7 Bobby - 6 Dan - 11 Simon - 8 The Crow - 15
Out:
The Parrot (ObscureNightmares) Walter (mrbates) Laura (Harkonnen)

Someone wants to defend Bobby, let 'em do it.
Heal Lotte, hurt Bobby.
Jennifer - 11 Anne - 8 Lotte - 14 Ms. Mary - 7 Bobby - 4 Dan - 11 Simon - 8 The Crow - 15
Out:
The Parrot (ObscureNightmares) Walter (mrbates) Laura (Harkonnen)

>_>; I'm not sure what that's got to do with anything, but I may have to change the rules if this keeps up.

See, though, changing the rules to protect characters or restrict voting defeats the purpose of the game. In Hurt and Heals, charas should rise and fall by their popularity; the fan favorites are generally safer from elimination because people have cared about them enough to heal them. If, for example, someone objects to me voting against Bobby (or Simon or whoever), then they should attempt to counter my votes - or should have healed him beforehand. This game, however, shook out to where Lotte, Jen, and the crow were the high priorities who got the early Heals.
There can be slightly dead spots where the clear-cut less popular charas are culled, but thanks to the reasonable number of points doled to each chara and the double hurt/single heal voting system used here, they won't go on for long in this game. Also, I think a rule change to correct "bad" voting would lead to ill feelings at this point. It's just a game; we don't need to take it so seriously.

That would work if we had more people participating, but we don't. It's no fun for anyone when a person hurts and heals the same character over and over.

The charas don't have large life gauges, though, and no one's complained about the voting. It's not a big deal. I wouldn't change it. On another topic, that's an awesome icon spincutedge has.

On another topic, that's an awesome icon spincutedge has. Aw, thanks. I was hoping someone would notice. I made it using a program and a CT3 video. Now I gotta wait just 3 more hours to post in the game ;D

It is a big deal. I asked politely for people to stop healing and hurting the same characters over and over, because it ruins the whole point of the game if you just focus on one specific character. I've had this same problem in the other versions too, so I may have no choice but to change the rules.

I've had this same problem in the other versions too, so I may have no choice but to change the rules. It's like politely asking people to ignore third base in the fifth inning, though. It's not how the game is played. Furthermore, you're the only one upset here, in any of the threads, and it's not fair to change the rules just because one person doesn't like how others are voting. Harkonnen on the other thread was right; you *are* making a mountain out of a molehill. If you're going to make what's supposed to be a fun game a social trial, there's no reason to continue at all.
