Oh what the hell? That looks... less then good. It seems like they're trying to turn it into more of a teen-slasher flick rather than good ol' horror. I know I shouldn't complain-- we're lucky this is even getting made.
Why, oh, why did they have to choose Clock Tower 3 of all the storylines available? T_T
Don't get me wrong-- I liked CT3. I did. But rooder magic and time travel does not a good movie make. They should have stuck with Frist Fear instead. Also, the girl in the storyboard looks disturbing like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. >_>;
Well... it's just the hook. Storyboards change all the time. Who knows how it'll end up?
(aside: OMG, it's been ages since I last posted here. Hey everyone!)

It certainly isn't the movie itself. How do we even know it is a teaser? Where is the source? I didn't see anything to make me think it had any connection to Clock Tower or the movie.

I heard about this over at silenthillforum.com, but the link to download the animation was down. So I came over here to see if y'all knew anything about it. Broken Clock didn't fail me (thanks ghostsarecool!). According to this guy over at the other forum this is the animated storybord that the newly choosen director of the upcoming 'Clock Tower' movie, Jorge Olguin, showed to the studio that helped convince them to hire him. And the screenplay has been written by Jake Wade Wall (When A Stranger Calls). Here's the official word on the subject from bloody-disgusting.com Chilean helmer Jorge Olguin is directing the Mayhem Project's horror pic Clock Tower, based on the Japanese vidgame franchise, according to Variety. Jake Wade Wall (When a Stranger Calls) continues to get more and more projects as we will pen the script, which concerns a young woman who receives a disturbing phone call from her estranged mother warning her not to come home. When she investigates, she uncovers a terrible supernatural truth from her past. Production is slated to begin this fall. Olguin made an impression on Mayhem when he presented the company with a set of animated storyboards for "Clock Tower," featuring Scissorhands -- the "Clock Tower" villain -- as well as a trailer for the movie based on Wade Wall's script. Hopefully we'll see this little animated fun online sometime soon? Launched in 1997 by Japanese vidgame studio Capcom, the Clock Tower franchise has become one of the bestselling vidgames of all time. "Clock Tower 3" alone has sold over 2 million units."Scissor hands"? Oh, dear... Well, I stick by what I said before. The proof'll be in the pudding, I suppose. Also, here's a link to the production company's website: www.themayhemproject.com/indevelopment.htmlJust in case some people are still sceptical. ETA: "I didn't see anything to make me think it had any connection to Clock Tower or the movie." Well, there was a clock tower. =D

That animation may have NOTHING to do with the movie in the end. I recall that the director of Silent Hill put a short movie together to impress Konami before they would hire him for the movie, and the short had nothing to do with the movie...I think. All we can relate to the animation and the game are a few elements... -The eye reflection in the start. -The little girl -The Clock Tower
Nothing else.
