www.bbc.co.uk/crime/caseclosed/johnhaigh.shtmlWhoa. The real John Haigh was debonair, not goofy, and he worked in the '30's and '40's, not the '60's, but he did indeed kill pensioners (including an aging woman and her son) for their money and dunked their bodies in drums of acid. Was I the last to know this info? Creepy. (Incidentally, I got this off a link on Capcom Central. They cite similar real-life models for Sledgehammer and Chopper, though I don't see the explicit connections present in Corroder's case.)

I read the ones of the killers where they got the idea for Sledgehammer and for Chopper, but neither have any actual revelance to their ingame characters. THe hammer one is so sad, two ten-year-olds brutally murder a two-year-old, and no hammer is involved. The Chopper is just one of those "Ripper" cases, with no reason behind the killings-Chopper did it after he was rejected because of his deformity-and no axes were ever used.

Either there is none for the Scissortwins or they have not been posted up on Capcom's site yet. It did say that all the killers were based on real life ones, but as I said, Chopper and Hammer's where not really connected at all, but this one was.

....CREEPY...
I didn't like the Corroder..He scared me..Well, except for when he tried to sit on me. Then I laughed.
But the fact that these are based off real things..Scary.

Funny how some of the Subordinates were actual serial killers in real life. Bizzare. 0_o

Yeah, although I'd have to say it came across more creepy than funny to me. =p
Did you ever notice how some of the creepiest things ALWAYS have a bit of truth behind them?

Like how Fatal Frame had the "True Story" thing...
Now, it could've been false, but there's still that odd "....o.o..." Sort of moment.
Oh well. I'll just watch out for dudes talking about acid baths from now on. Heh.

Well, it sort of makes sense that they would do that. The scariest things always come out of truth, in my opinion.
I'm sorry, but thinking about a guy who actually did cook people in acid makes me shiver a little. >.<

I think scissorman and scissorwoman were just to fit in with the whole scissorman thing from the other clock tower games, but I found them to be a joke. I begin to wish that they would have used bobby and dan to chase you in the hospital and not those clowns.
