As we all know, the first official game in the Clock Tower series was never released in America. But ways around that have been created and many have gotten the chance to play this game, which is AMAZING for an SNES release. So, have you played it? If not, why?

Excellent game. Doesn't get much better than that.

This is an excellent game... But I prefer the sequel, since it's bigger randomness adds more replay value.

True, but there were not nearly enough successful places to hide for that to be possible.

I haven't played it (unfortunately) and I would LOVE to see why people enjoy it so much. Please send me the English translation, Obscure Nightmares
P.S. Do you have to pay to play it? If so, then please do NOT send me the English translation of the game. I'm not exactly the richest eighteen year-old horror game fan out there.

Oh I've played it. Since I started playing when I was in Grade 6, I got scared and needed 3 months to recover from shock. Ain't that rad? Anyway, I 100%-ed my ending list about 2 years ago. THe game is so f**kin' awesome!

Has anybody else played the other versions, (for wonderswan, psx and windows 95)? The psx remake is really better in matter of graphics and all that. The differences between versions are in my introductions thread in case someone wants to know them.

Yeah, it has opening movies apparently (which I would ove links to myself.) Was this game ever considered for coming to America?

As far as I know, it wasn't allowed by Nintendo of America to release it, probable because it was too much for those times.
