I think I wrote what I mean badly
Bobby IS insane and demonic which lead him to destroy/kill anything and anyone at, I should have said that Bobby is used by the other demons.
Also, yes, the first Scissorman did live centuries ago, but in the game it is possible to read some documents written by Quentin Barrows, who will talk about his son and his wife, that's it!

You don't mean Bobby will just be possessed, do you?

Well... It is more correct to say that Bobby has a mindless killer demon instead of a soul and other demons use the corpses that Bobby kills to return into our world, that's it.

That's...really lame. It's also inaccurate. Very innacurate. The victims are lured to the house as entertainment for Bobby and food for Dan. After they are killed, their bodies are fed to Dan. I really don't think he should mess with the story like that.

O.N., I see you don't like changes in a masterpiece CCTFF is, but, c'mon, accept them. You can't complain everything: OK, Jen's dress was too obscene, but REMOTHERED isn't just "The First Fear" with a better graphic, but a full remake, with some element changed to the author's likes. Anyway, "Dan eating corpses" theory is as inaccurate as the "corpses turning into demons" one. We NEVER see Dan eating (abeit I actknowledge it is somewhat implied!). Also, in the PS1 version of CC, we DID see a corpse suddenly brought to life attemping to kill Jennifer. See: it.youtube.com/watch?v=lYP7DISJeT8you can clearly see a zombie-like enemy between 5:56 and 6:26. Also, both theories could coexist without any problem: half of the corpses to Dan and the other half turned into demons I hope I didn't sound rude to you, as I actually like this change in the story, and If I has been, I'm really sorry. Have a nice day!

as much as I admit that jen looks very adult and there are many things that put people off about this project. I believe that the creators are entitled to their own creative rights this is a fanmade remake after all.
the creators shouldn't listen to other fans and just have fun with it. If other people disagree with them (well they're not forcing you to play it) so it's really the fan's problem.
Tell the guys at Mansyon Soft good luck for me k.

It's not inaccurate, as it's officially stated in one of the guidebooks that Mary brings victims for the purpose of entertaining Bobby and feeding Dan. You also can't compare one mummy coming to life due to possession with the whole plot being altered to make other corpses come to life.
And fans do have a right to complain, especially about changes that ruin or deface the original.

Which will likely result in backlash against them and their creation. It's wrong to take such liberties with the story.

then dont play it. like i said its the fans choice. why complain and feel mad and flame at the creators when you could just ignore it
or you could ask them to change the names of the characers and the title of the game making it a game inspired by clock tower
fans will probably complain that it was mor of a ripoff of CTFF but at least it doesn deface the original and besides CTFF was inspired by that movie right? there was many elements in the gmae that was obviously ripped from the movie
these pepple worked hard on this project we should cut them some slack give our support and stuff

So, Hi everybody, I'm Chris Darril, the one behind Remothered project. thanks for your interests about it. I would like to clarify to you "I'm a Clock Tower fan just like you". I played all the serie's episodes, including Haunting Ground; and this and "The First Fear" are my favorites videogames. So with this "Remothered" , I wanted to mix story, characters and atmosphere of the first Clock Tower with style, perversion and gameplay of Haunting Ground and a little pinch of Phenomena. THIS is Remothered. Anyway, I can assure you, it will be faithful to its original. First was true, Jennifer was too old compared with the first version of 1995. So, and many people could confirm, I have rejuvenated her. These are her changes See? Then...I would to explain the mummies' story. Who ever said that the mummies are children adopted by Mary in the past now transformed in demons in putrefaction or mummified? Me? I don't think so! The mummies are one...and the children are another! Mary take children to give them in meal for her sons Bobby and Dan, to simplify the change of these means demons into humans. The mummies/ demons are not children. But simple game enemies. The original Clock Tower told a little the theme of the H.P. Lovercraft's Necronomicon. I doubt you knew it! The Abdul Alhazred's Myth, do you remember it? When Jennifer in the library did drop a shelf and discovered an old murals. Yeah, so I decided to deepen Necronomicon's theme in this remake. The idol of the statue of the first two Clock Tower is taken from the myth of the Necronomicon too. So too the demons entered into mummified bodies of innocent people is a clare derivation of the Necronomicon. As the mummy of First Fear and Clock Tower 2 (under the altar in the underground chapel or that in the tomb deposited in the under-stairs of the castle). Mummies and demons therefore will be very rare; the main game enemies will be the usual persecutors as Bobby and Mary, with the addition of two new persecutors. Finally, Jennifer can't fight, but has got a list of actions as Fiona had in Haunting Ground and this time too should count only on the effectiveness on her leaks and her hiding places. This is a remake just like the first Resident Evil remake, the same plot and characters, graphically and technically improved but enriched of new details (like Lisa). I hope I've cleared your doubts. Sorry if my English isn't perfect, at least, I've tried . Thanks to everybody. CHRIS DARRIL (Mansyon Soft and Remothered's Head)

Barrow666, I'm not flaming anyone. I am voicing my opinion, based on what I was told.
Remothered, I hope you realize that Haunting Ground was NOT part of the CT series. It was intended to be-which is the only reason it has a section here,-but was ultimately changed. While some did like it, it was generally a horrible game, which combined all the worst features of Clock Tower 3.
I am glad someone is remaking First Fear, but as a fan, can't help worrying about changes. That is something that happens with fans when any game is being remade. Improved graphics are one thing, but story and gameplay changes are another. In particular, CT3's decision to do away with the point-and-click gameplay ultimately hurt the game and took away a big part of what made Clock Tower a Clock Tower game. I hope, especially since this game will be on the PC, that you are using the point-and-click method.
I also hope you plan to remake other games in the series, mainly The Struggle Within, which really had a lot of potential.

I'm sorry, but absolutely not. It'll be not a point-and-click adventure, but an adventure in real time. And I don't understand why do you like THE STRUGGLE WITHIN. Is one of the worst horror adventure of ever, and not just the worst episode of the serie. According to the critics and the public. Anyway, Haunting Ground is the exact example of the real "survival horror", mixed with atmospheres that have made very famous the first clock tower and an innovative and immediate gameplay (if you don't know, the graphics and the gameplay is derived from the "first" Resident Evil 4 then abandoned, called 3.5. And Haunting Ground is a spiritual Clock Tower sequel.) Anyway, calm ... I'm sure that if you loved the first Clock Tower, you'll love this remake. Bye! CHRIS DARRIL

Point-and-click is a big part of the Clock Tower series. Doing it in real-time most likely will only end in disaster, as Clock Tower 3 and Haunting Ground have shown us. Plus, since this will be played on a computer, that also means awkward controls, since real-time games are best played with a controller.
The Struggle Within is not a bad game, it just could have been better. Much like Clock Tower 3. The potential for a great game is there.
Haunting Ground is not a Clock Tower sequel in any sense, it was just once planned to be. And I stand by what I said-it took everything that was wrong with Clock Tower 3 and combined it, then added a bunch of other problems. Capcom needs to have the series removed from their hands before they do anymore damage.

Hello. Obviously, this is my first post.
I'd sorta find it okay with this new game being played on the computer, as long as it was configurable with a computer game controller.
I've been a CT fan for 7 years, playing the series since I was 7. (Yes, I know it's not good for a 7 year old to be playing stuff like this, but I turned out okay) In the last year, I played the CT1 game and was able to play through it by memory. This new remake sounds very interesting, but it's very tedious to wait... I've been waiting since the trailers first surfaced on YouTube.
ObscureNightmares, CT3 was really enjoyable. I did miss the fact that point and click was gone, but you had the ability to move completely. Real-time is what gives you the actual scare; knowing you can't screw around too much. It may take away from the originality of the first one, but you must know, everything comes with a disadvantage.
BTW, am I going to have to wait any longer for this thing???
