ZOMG...
That...was...the...most...awesome...thing...EVER.
Haha, silly Japanese schoolgirls. Though I can't say much because I was scared the first time I saw Ring...but not THAT scared!!!
...though it brings back memories of the time when my Mom pulled a practical joke on me and dressed up as Sadako and hid in my room. >< I STILL haven't forgiven her for that. And my boyfriend still won't stop laughing at me because I screamed and crawled on the floor crying when she did it...>.>

LOL, I didnt know so many girls would freak out like that (except at the end). That was really funny. They all scattered like *CENSORED*roaches.

"thingyroaches"? LOL
Anyway, knowing the cheesy nature of plenty of 'scary' Japanese horror movies, it's not surprising that a bunch of girls would get THAT freaked out over that...

But yeah, its not surprising to me either. Its always like that here when a new horror movie comes out in the theatre on opening night and all the teenage girls constantly scream.

Ah, the infamous Morning Musume VS. Sadako clip. I don't blame the girls for reacting the way that they did, especially since most of them are 13 - 15 year old girls with a couple of older members.
But people are sometimes scared by things easily than other people. I remember my roommate that after she saw The Ring, she went to sleep and she screamed because she swore she saw "the ring" in her bedroom. Figures out that she had a glow-in-the-dark hamster wheel that when the lights are off, shines like a big "ring". I had a good laugh bringing up when she was screaming and being scared because of "the (hamster) ring".
A bit off-topic, but RetroScissorman. Your signature should be: "If you can hear the scissors, you're already dead."

A hamster ring, huh?
That makes me think of the time when Heather (my big sister) first saw the American Ring, and her electronics started getting fuzzy and acting up in the car on the way home. She kept saying things like, "I swear that girl's chasing me!" and things like that.
I'm actually the more paranoid one, so it was fun to console my sister and tell her, "It's okay, sis. It's just a movie...it's nothing to be afraid of."
...that is, until I saw the movie and got MUCH more frightened.
Then the novelty quickly wore off. >.<
