You mean for the PSX? Theres an english ROM for the SF version. Theres really no difference in text between the original and TFF.

I havent seen any transcript of the game on the net. What I was getting at, is there isnt a difference in text between the SF version and the TFF version. In TFF, there are only a couple of new scenes that dont include text, and an intro movie. So if you want to know the text, I recommend downloading the translated ROM for the SF and play that first. But I know what your getting at. I would LOVE to see a translated version of TFF for the PSX be released. But until Obscure gets the rights. We're out of luck. Im sorry if I couldnt be of anymore help.

They shall be mine!! But, for the english text, it is better to just download the english ROM and play it-we have links on the forum.

I could understand why clock tower didn't get released on the snes here in america (I think that was around the same time as mortal kombat came on snes, which was when they were "censor happy" so to say) however, I wonder why the psx port didn't get to come over here, sony doesn't care about the content of mature games (not that I know of anyway).

I never understood that. I know why it wasnt released here for the SNES, but I dont unterstand why they didnt release it for the PSX. Would someone like to shed some light?

Maybe they thought it was too old-school graphics-wise, etc. to release it on the PS in the US?

Well, I scoff at that. Graphics don't make a game, that had been proven to me several times.

Very few games are strong enough that they could be ported from an old console to a new one. I've only seen it done with those Atari collections and Legend of Zelda. If you try and bring a games with SNES graphics to a PS, chances are it won't do to well.

Which is a real shame... Forget that it's in japanese! I'm going to play a iso of it anyway (I don't have the money to buy a jap psx system and everything). I can get by on what I know anyway. ;D
