I think my game is bugged =/

When I enter the room where you use the drawer key and get the first aid kit the screen freezes and all I see is a black screen
I would like to know if you guys know something about it....Is it a bug in the game or my clock tower disk has some kind of malfunction?

I know this sounds stupid, but is the game disk is probably scratched in a certain area that causes that. I recommend cleaning the disk and try that part again.
