Since it would be quite natural to share the Clock Tower fascination with a general like of horror films, I am curious as to which horror films you enjoy or simply your favourites.

I'm mostly a fan of Asian horror, so my favorites include : Cure, MPD Psycho (short TV series, not a film per se), The Eye, The Hypnotist, Bunshinsaba, and Whispering Corridors. I do like some American horror though, especially Saw (I & II).

I really love 'The Shining'... 'Nightmare on Elm Street' and 'The Exorcist' are very good ones too.

Scary Movie 3 was good. Not exactly a horror movie, but...^^ My sister forced me to watch Seed of Chucky, and I admit I laughed and was scared too.^^ And I like the Resident Evil movies too.

As for me well, I am into horror somewhat...
Favourites:
American/European Horror Dawn of the Dead ('78), Evil Dead 2, Psycho (Original Hitchthingy version), 28 Days Later, The Thing ('82 version)
Asian Horror Ringu, Ringu 2, Ringu Zero: Birthday, Ju-on: The Grudge, Versus (Those are my favourites for the moment, I have Ju-on 2 and the Japanese Dark Water on my shelf but I haven't gotten the chance to watch them yet...)
*Edit, as the permission tags deny offensive words, the master of thrillers shall now be known be Alfred Hitchthingy

I like more psychological horror, like "The Eye", "Ju-on", "Ring", and "Dark Water". I don't like slasher films much because they literally make me sick, and I'll start throwing up in the toilet if I watch certain ones. Others just make me freak out like a little schoolgirl and I cling to my boyfriend the whole time...>.<
I also love "Cairo" (AKA: Pulse), but that wasn't so much horror as it was a sort of philosophical film. ^_^() I just hope the English remake won't be crap.

Mine would be your typical horror films. Like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, Phantasm, Childs Play, Sleepaway Camp, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Evil Dead, Puppet Master, and George Romero's and Lucio Fulci's zombie movies.
I also enjoy the movies made from some of Stephen King's stories (even though the books are better).

Evil Dead (almost made me puke)
The Omen ({original ones}1&2, haven't watched 3 yet. I thought it was good considering how old it was.)
Dead girl walking ( just watched it, not very good acting, quite old, but I like the concept and the fact that this was the first ever japanese horror movie i watched which concentrates more on gore than psycology (is that right?) but it still ended up cin ematic in a way and I think it's more sympathy than fear)
Scream triology (made me laugh at parts)
Venom (or was it poison? I was the only person who screamed at the end, IN THE CINEMA, god...that was soooo embarrassing! >o<)
The Ring 2 (Jap)
etc ( I need to think more...)

I just find slasher films funny. They are so cheesy, lol! Even the more modern ones seem cheep. I also just like the gore in them! ;D
