In the game, we learn that one of the biggest reasons Nancy and Phillip fought with Alyssa's grandfather was because they didn't want to raise her as a Rooder. What do you think was the right course of action and why?
On one hand, Phillip and Nancy were her parents and were probably just trying to protect her from a very dangerous line of work, as well as future generations.
But on the other hand, without Rooders, countless tormented souls would never be free, and the Entities would continue their reign of terror. Plus, there's the possibility that future generations would end up being suddenly thrust into a situation like Alyssa was, with no understanding and the lives of those they care for at stake. And if Alyssa didn't know about being a Rooder, then it's likely she wouldn't be able to pass it on.
Your thoughts?
