EDIT: Uh, oh...I meant to post this in the regular CLOCK TOWER forum, not TFF. Sorry..
EDIT #2:Maybe not; I'm talking about the SFC version, in any case.
The first time I played the game, I got the bit with Mrs. Barrows giving you the drink, Lotte rescuing me, and I was the only one to live, standing alone on top of the Clock Tower. I never saw the secret room, either.
I thought it was a pretty good ending, though.

Anyway, the "S" ending is not considered the BEST ending, but rather, the HAPPIEST ending.

I dont think I would be 'happy' if I had gone through all of that. The only thing I would be happy about is that I got out of there alive.  |

Is not the "S" ending the one where Jen escapes with one of her friends? It is much happier to survive with someone rather than alone.

True. It is better to escape something like that with a friend. So in a way I guess I would be happy.  |

Before playing the game, I had recalled hearing about an ending where she escaped with both Laura and Ann, but I was never able to find such an ending.

Yeah, there's a glitch where you don't see any of your friends die, but when you go into the elevator, it ends like F. Darn, Scissorman knows you were trying to be the ultimate hero. =/
