Same as the other thread-I doubt most people have played more than one version.^^

I chose CT2 because its like the unedited version of the one that was released in America. Like nothing has been taken out. It might just basically be the same but to me it feels complete.

True, plus the 2 makes sence you since it's a sequel to the first fear. They screwed ours up when they just called it Clock Tower, and they called Clock Tower: Ghosthead, Clock Tower II: The struggle within. Seeing as it was more of a spinoff then a sequel.

Actually Clock Tower 3 goes by the same name in both the US and Japan, though it is the fourth game in the series.

Yes, I just realized that clock tower 3 would be the same, because clock tower ghost head was a spin-off in the first place...actually 3 is kind of a spin off as well, nothing to really do with the previous clock towers, other than her name is Alysa for whatever reason.

Clock Tower 3 is connected to the first two games by the Burroughs/Barrows family.

Ah, yeah, forgot about that...thanks to the fact that they changed the spelling of Barrows!!! Barrows was a mistranslation from the japanese name, Barozu.
