Okay, here's something weird that happened to me when I was playing Clock Tower: FF on my ZSNES about 4-5 months ago.
I was playing the game as usual, using the Fast Forward feature on my ZSNES to skip the slow walking, and I went into the first living room. I got the key from the box, went to the master's bedroom, got the perfume and trapped the bird, and went out.
Then it gets weird. I wasn't paying much attention on the game the moment I got back to the hall before the main foyer, due to my Yahoo Messenger. All of a sudden, I hear the Scissorman music, and boom! After a few seconds of the fast forward button, Scissorman appeared.
The thing that's weird is that I haven't set off a "trigger", as in either Ann or Laura dies in order to meet Scissorman for the first time. So basically, I encountered Scissorman before I normally would've. Sadly, I was too much in shock to savestate, and possibly missed one of the strangest glitches in CT history. Just to note, after escaping Scissorman, I did the ending with the car, and got a "Credits Only" scene like the alternate D ending.
I swear to God this is all true. I'm not making any of this up. If anyone could explain to me what the hell happened, or if it was just a coincidence my game glitched on that moment, please do tell.

Holy...Holy crap. I have to try that on my Cartridge, and on my ROM. I'm not sure how you did it, but that's definitely strange. I haven't gone through any serious glitches on the ROM (except the annoying "You run at all before you first meet Scissorman and you turn red" glitch at the beginning of the game), though...

the run thing is a strange thing indeed...
but still, I wonder if my cartridge really glitched or if there's an alternate trigger.
it ties in with other glitches in the game, such as if you start the game on Quick Start mode, and then head for the pool immediately, you might not see a certain thing and will be able to use the car for the alternate D ending.
was this intentional?

Though I notice that even if I do see Ann dying in the pool, I get killed because by the time I reach the hallway to hide Scissorman meets me at the entrance and kills me anyway. >.<
I know that the "you lose health as you run" thing in "TFF" was meant to make it harder than the Cartridge (which doesn't have you lose health as you run, I noticed. I ran back and forth in a hallway for a total of 3 minutes of straight running and didn't even lose a little health), but it's still annoying.
