Does anyone know how to open that one locked door in the hospital? It's in the hall where you first start. You can beat the game without opening it, but it's driving me crazy!

Oh god,it took me hours to open it! all I remember is that you have to examine everything in every room, and all events, and make sure you hear Shannon's voice(the one that says something when you first examine the door) After you do open it...I hope you have good aim

Not the big black door. The white one. It has a sign next to it with what looks like a blue hand or something printed on it.

I know it has nothing to do with the game, as i stated in my first post the game could be beaten without it, but it just seems odd that it is the only door that does not open.

Think of it as one of the unopenable doors in Silent Hill 3: Just there for level design, and to bother you.

The First Fear's Super Famicom version also has an unopenable door. You can enter there in the other versions though...

I think the door probably leads to the Children's Ward and is where Stephanie and Kathryn are.

I think all horror type games have that just to fustrate the player, like clock tower 3 'Phillip's room.
But I don't think the sign is of a hand, but of a watering can, perhaps it's a garden? or a place they make the medicine?

I think it has to lead to the Children's Ward, where Stephanie and Kathryn are.
