Is Clock Tower 2 TSW or GH (same thing) a part of the series? I personally do not think;;

I think it's a side-story like Resident Evil 4

Officially, it was released as part of the series. However, unlike all the other games, there is no real connection provided by it. The "Maxwell" thing was just a translation coincidence, as was the name "Alyssa".

Hmm..
It seems as though the CT series has a lot of coincidences. "Maxwell", "Alyssa", "Borroughs/Barrows"..Weird.

Maxwell and Alyssa were NOT coincidences at all, just a random translation thing. In the original version of the game, both names are Japanese. In the original version of Clock Tower 3, I believe the main character's name was actually "Allyssa". As for the Burroughs thing, there quite possibly is a connection between the families in both games.

Yeah, translation things, I think I was trying to go down that road. ^^;
Wasn't there another translation thing where two character's names where "Dan Barrows/Burroughs"? I thought there was..

I guess they were just trying to add in some references from the other games. Or at least thats what I think.

That's already been said many times-Barrows and Burroughs are the same name. It was the same name, but translated differently by the two companies.

Why did they switch companies? Didn't one of the old companies..Like, die or something, become no more?

Personally, I percept Ghost Head as a spin-off of the original Clock Tower, because it doesn't have any real connection to original story except two or, maybe, three references, which are more like an "easter eggs". Guess that's why the game in japan got the title "Clock Tower: Ghost Head" instead of "Clock Tower3" or something like that...

yea i think its just a side story the only things they have of the orginal is showing a poster of jennifer on the wall in the room and she says this is not a game which im guess in that world clock tower is not real and its a video game over there, and the only connection would be helen maxwell and the maxwell family thats it but probally not even

To me, when Alyssa said "This isnt a game" I thought of it as like this isnt some kind of video game, its real life. Even though what your playing is in fact a video game.
