Up to January 29th, 2006 (01/29/2006)
I'm remaking Clock Tower -Fan Text-, adding a bit more options, editing some texts, and making it in another way than before (before, each text had a window, and whenever you made a decision, the window changed to the one with the required text, now every chapter will depend on only one window, with a changable text and buttons, making the program smaller, faster and a bit easier for me to program).
I've been thinking of making a game like CT Fan Text, but when you play as Dan Scissorman, the story starts like the direct sequel of the first CT, but changes through the game. You would also be able to level up depending on the people you kill, and your final objective would be to kill Jennifer. I'll try to make it, but I don't know if I'd be able to program that though...

Update February 5th 2006 (02/05/2006)
<<I just don't know what to do with myself>> -The White Stripes
Reprogrammed most of the 1st chapter of CT Fan Text including more text parts, options and endings. Thought of also reprogramming CTHangMan, but I don't know if I'll be able to do it.
'I just don't know what to do with myself': I've been thinking this week, and I really don't know what should I do with this program. Should I countinue making 3 versions per year?. After thinking it some time, I've got to the conclusion that I really want to do something good. You may say this program is good, but you are mostly saying it just because it's about CT. Making the next version a good one may take a year or even more. So, I don't know if I should hurry to release 3 versions per year, making mainly bug-fixing and some (minor) improvements in each one, OR I should wait more and release an almost complete one which would have most of the CT material I've gathered these years to unlock. The main problem of this is that in a year, it is really probable that none of the members that come to this forum or gamefaqs now, will still be coming. Another thing is that in a year (when I finally finish my 10th year in english - yes, I speak spanish, that's why my english is so bad) I'll be probably starting my first programming course. And after that course, I may be able to do good new additions to the program So maybe I should even wait until I finish that course (in around 4 years maybe) to continue with this project...
As I said it before, I just don't know what to do with myself...

Update February 17th 2006 (02/17/2006)
Well... Been working for a while now in the CLOCK TOWER -Fan Text- minigame, now remaking Intermission 1, finishing Chapter 1 (previously named chapter 2), and reprogramming the whole thing. I made a total of 101 different situations for Chapter 1 (beating the thirty something the last version had), now clicking on things more than 1 time may change what happens, and some more options the previous one didn't have.
I think I'll finish the version in mid-2006... Since by that time there may be some members that won't be here anymore, I'll be dropping every member a PM soon to ask for their e-mails.
The most complete version of the next release will probably have EVERY picture, fan art, movies, music, or whatever I find. For the things I didn't made, I'll put the website of where I found them. The problem with this is that it will probably make the version 200+MBs... And I seriously doubt anyone would like to download the program if it is that big. Because of that, maybe I'll make a Full version (with everything), a Mid version (with everything except the videos), and a small version (with nothing but the test and minigames)... I don't know though...

Update March 25th 2006 (03/25/2006)
*Project Closed*
Reasons: -I found TOO MANY things that I could add to the unlockable section (almost 1gb), and nobody would download the program if it is that big. -Not much time to work in the program -Programming limitations -Not being in the best emotional way (I'm being depressed lately for different stuff)
It's a shame to me, that I had to stop the program, especially after reprogramming the whole thing, and completing the first chapter of the CLOCK TOWER -Fan Text- Minigame.
If you have any comment, post it in the 'comments' thread of this forum please.

Project Changing Directions
As you may have read in the 'Comments' thread, I'll continue the project, but only the Fan-Text part. I'll think of a new name later.

Update June 7th 2006 (06/07/06) Gettin' Back To It After around 2 months without working on the project, I got back with the programming part of it. Not much has changed since the last time, but I've cleaned some pieces of coding, and I think the 0.10 version of 'A Brand New Fear', will be downloadable next month. As said before, it'll include Intermission 1, and Chapter 1, and 13 endings to unlock, plus the 'Alive' ending. I designed and coded these parts today, which go for the 'Stage Select menu', and the 'Ending List menu' (where you'll also be able to see a walkthrough of the shortest way to get an ending, once you've unlocked it): In case you haven't seen them, more screenshots are in the 'Program Thread'

Almost finished the program. However, it will not be uploaded until the opening of the Ikary Products page. When that happens, the program will be downloadable from there, as well as the previous versions, graphics and other stuff.
I've already registered the page, but I'm not going to say it's adress until I've completed the first version of it. If I did so, people could see a lot of errors on it, as well as find out my poor html skills (since I'm not using the easy-builder option, but actually programming the page).

Update June 20th 2006 (06/20/06)
Thanks for the comments... I've already started with all the 'sounds stuff'. The game now, will have a lot more sounds than the minigame in the previous version of CTFanTest (which only had 4, if I remember correctly). However, all of the sounds are going to be edits and mixes of the ones in the first CT (the one for Super Famicom). For example, when you first choose to go and look for Ms. Mary, you kind of first hear the sound of you walking through a door, then some steps, and then a scream.
Oh, the 'scream' sound may/will turn really bothering through the game (it'll probably appear everytime you die or see Scissorman), that's mainly why I put the option to turn off the sound.

Update July 10th 2006 (07/10/06)
I'm almost finishing it. However, I'd like to know if anyone who has tried the last version of FT, remembers any bug or problem they have had with the program. If so, please post it in the comments section.
PS: Now the program is being called Clock Tower -The Deepest Fear-
