Bear with me here:
Before Clock Tower: From CT3, we learn of the subordiantes. They are evil incarnated that turns men into killing machines. There are certain rituals and curses involved with them. The only people who can stop them are young girls / rooders.
Barrows Family: Started with LordBurroughs who created the Clock Tower and revived the subordinates. Generations later, the curse gave way to the first scissorman.
CTFF: Simon and Mary Barrows conduct a new Subordinate ritual and give birth to Dan and Bobby. For sustinance, they need the heart of young girls (akin to the Ritual of Engagement.) Jen comes along and offs them all.
CT: Jen returns to get rid of Dan, we learn of the Barrows past.
CT2: A connection? Surely there can't be? Ah, but I have a theory. Maxwell family is "cursed". The daughter of every (X) generation is cursed with a split personallity/ alternate ego. DO I HEAR A SUBORDINATE/ROODER HYBRID HEAR? Alyssa may have been an entity herself. However, so much is left out that we would need a better back story to figure this one out.
CT3: We learn of the rooders, subordiantes, ritual of engagement, ect.
Discuss.

I like your theory except for the CT2 part. I just don't really like the Rooder/Subordinate hybrid idea and prefer to think of CT2 as it's own separate story.

Makes enough sense. The only qualm is that I have a different theory about the birth of the Barrow twins, specifically that a pact with evil was mode, for power most likely and the cost was to bear the child of the evil and bring it into the human world.

Yeah, makes sense but i agree with Errornix i'd say it's not cannon but rather just a different story

Heh, no reason why you can play only the females (I mean Bates, too since he is a boy, in a girl's body)

I like the idea about Alyssa/Bates being a Subordinate/Rooder hybrid.
Hey, don't forget -
a) Lotte ceremonially sacrificed in the caves in FF.
b) Lord Burroughs's first name in the original CT3 was Dan. Dan's last name in the original CT:FF was Burroughs.
This might not be an intentional storyline, but it's a neat peek on the way things might go/be going. At any rate, it'd make a heck of a fanfic (or game, even).

Barrows and Burroughs, its growing quite confused. I have a feeling about CT:FF and CT3 has some kind of connection.

In raw Japanese, the Scissorman family name is written as "barouzu". That can translate to both "Burroughs" and "Barrows". The FF fan translators chose the latter when translating the Scissorman family name, but Japanese official guidebooks (I believe) had the name written in Roman letters as the former.
Basically, the Dan-Bobby-Mary family of FF and the homicidal aristocrat of CT3 have the same family name, and the English Lord of CT3 and the giant demon baby of FF have the *exact* same name, Dan Burroughs.

So, would that mean CT3 is a true sequel to CT:FF maybe?
Hey, what if Dan is the recarnation of Lord Burroughs?
EDIT: err, nevermind about the Dan recarnation. I just read the profile about Lord Burroughs
EDIT by Admin: Took care of the triple post.^^

It would have been cool if it had been that Lotte had been used for the "Ritual of Engagement" to make Dan an entity, but is impossible. Burroughs is not an entity and Lotte was only 14.

I can see the connections, but I seriously think of CT: GH as its own story, and not so much as a Clock Tower sequel.

Yeah, CT ghosthead was meant to be a story of it's own. I think it's weird that the curse is called the, "Maxwell" curse. Yet, Helen's name was Helen Maxwell (If I remember correctly, I'm not so good with last names, lol).
