When is it coming out where you live, and are you going to see it? Me? A definate yes. Even if it does not turn out to be good, I see that they at least have some classic SH music.

Considering my mom's attitude towards horror, I'll have to wait until I can download it somehow.

I'd really would like to watch it. I don't know if it will get to the cinema since I live in Uruguay (which is quite far from USA or Japan, between Argentina and Brazil). However, thanks to the cable tv, I'm probably gonna watch it in HBO or something.

You could get it on DVD when it comes out, it usually takes 2 years for a movie to go to TV

I have just seen the trailer, I must admit I'm impressed, looks like this film may actually be good. And its a plus that a number of the more disfigured creatures like the nurses, bodybag like creatures and Pyramidhead from SH2 have remained. The only thing I want to have explained is the scene with the villagers...as they may have just tried to pass them off as zombies.

It looked as though, from a trailer I saw, that the villagers were interogating Dahlia, so that might be just a scene from Silent Hill's past.

I think it looks pretty promising. I'm glad it got a capable director and that Konami and Yamaoka were in on it. I'll definitely be going to see it on opening night (April 21st).

Oh! Awesome! They are supposed to be announcing the winner of the Silent Hill movie poster contest today, which could mean days later, knowing them.-.-;

Well, the SH movie posters they had at Megacon last weekend were of a little girl sitting there portrait-style without a mouth. So I'm not sure if that was the winner or one they were already using.

That was the default. The winner is the one of the screenshot of the main character-Rose-walking through the fog, approaching the large sign that says "Welcome to Silent Hill" and the tagline "We've been expecting you...".

The winner one is also being used. It is the one where Rose is walking towards the sign that says "Wekcome to Silent Hill" and the tagline is "We've Been Expecting You.". The one with the mouth really doesn't make much sense.
