I like the movie alot, even if Harry had a gender-change and a new name. I was happy to see "good" old Pyramid Head (I don't know why, but I kinda dig him, but I wouldn't want to run into him). And the ending... was quite weird, but then again, the "bad+" ending in the first game was weird as well.
It will be interesting to see the sequel

The ending should have been more satisfying.

I think the ending was left open for a sequel, or trying to be as vague as some of the games endings.

But what are the odds the sequel will be based on the movie at all? Seems more likely they would try and adapt the second game. Although, I have entertained the idea of the husband from the movie going to the town in search of his wife, but it wouldn't really be as good like that.

No it probably wouldn't be any good like that. I'm not sure what they're going to do with the second movie, but chances are the director might try and do it like the actual game series, with the second movie (which will probably be considerably more popular.) being based on the second game, and the third movie continuing with where the first movie left off.
Or at least I'd like it that way. A girl can dream can't she?

The winner one is also being used. It is the one where Rose is walking towards the sign that says "Wekcome to Silent Hill" and the tagline is "We've Been Expecting You.". The one with the mouth really doesn't make much sense. It's a pun on the Silent on the title
